Friends and Family Hold Cancer Benefit for Brad Elmer

ROCKFORD, IL – Friends and family of Brad Elmer are holding a “Team Up For Brad” Cancer Benefit on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 1 to 4pm at The Police Range, 1645 Blackhawk Rd., Rockford, IL. Admission to the Team Up For Brad Benefit is $10 at the door and includes: pizza, a beverage, dessert, and 2 raffle tickets. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite team attire for additional chances to win prizes.

Brad was raised in the Roscoe area and graduated from Hononegah High School in 1983. He worked for Harder Corp until April 2017 and was diagnosed in May with stage 4 bladder cancer that had spread to his liver, lungs, and metastasized to his spine in two areas. Brad recently completed his sixth round of chemo this past August and his family is unsure if more chemo treatment or radiation is in his future. Brad and his wife Vickie live in Rockford and are the parents of two adult children, Kyle and Becca.
